The situation

Your GmbH has to file its e-Bilanz with the tax office. Your annual accounts are ready. But operating ELSTER yourself? That is not necessary.

The whole path in one sentence

Upload your balance sheet and P&L, review, approve — filed with the tax office in under 10 minutes. From 24,95 €, no subscription.

Step 1 — Does it fit?

First, three short questions: GmbH or UG, size class, calendar year. And if it does not fit, we tell you honestly — instead of guessing.

0:09
Step 2 — Upload the annual accounts

Your finished annual accounts as PDF, Excel or CSV — just drag them in. We read the figures and present them to you for confirmation, one to one. Your figures stay your figures.

0:12
Step 3 — Free preview

Before any payment, the free preview: every line item, every mapping, in plain language. Plus the balance check: assets equal liabilities.

0:15
Step 4 — Confirm the mapping

And if a mapping is not unambiguous? We do not guess. You see the question, you make the choice, you confirm. The decision stays with you.

Step 5 — Payment

Only when everything fits: payment. 24,95 € net, securely via Stripe, one-time, no subscription.

0:21
Step 6 — Approval & ELSTER certificate

Filing happens only after your explicit approval, signed with your own ELSTER certificate. Certificate and PIN are used only for this one submission — and never stored.

0:25
Step 7 — Transferticket

Seconds later, your Transferticket: proof of your filing with the tax office. Together with the submitted XBRL file and your invoice — on screen and by email.

Frequently asked questions about the video

How does e-Bilanz submission with eBilanz Fabrik work?

Upload your finished annual accounts (PDF, Excel or CSV) or type in the figures. The values are read locally in your browser, mapped to the HGB XBRL taxonomy and shown in a free preview with a balance check. After your approval, the e-Bilanz is signed with your own ELSTER certificate and transmitted to the tax office via ERiC. You receive the Transferticket as proof. Statements without warranty.

How long does the e-Bilanz submission take?

From finished annual accounts to a transmitted e-Bilanz usually in under 10 minutes.

What does the e-Bilanz cost?

24,95 € net per submission (regularly 29,95 €), plus 19% VAT. One-time, no subscription.

Do I need a tax advisor?

§ 5b EStG does not require a tax advisor — whoever has their finished annual accounts may file themselves. The obstacle is the technology: the tax office only accepts a valid XBRL data set via the ERiC interface. eBilanz Fabrik handles exactly this step. Questions about the content of your balance sheet still belong with your tax advisor. Statements without warranty.
