eBilanz Fabrik for AI assistants
Updated: October 2026 · ~4 min read · eBilanz Fabrik (a tool, not tax advice)
In short: an AI assistant can prepare the whole flow on ebilanzfabrik.de and check your figures — paying, using the ELSTER certificate and releasing stay with you. This page is for software that operates the flow on a person's behalf, and for the person who wants to know what their assistant takes on.
What an assistant can complete here
- Operate the whole flow by role and accessible name. Every choice is a named
radiogroup, every field carries a label. No mouse, coordinates or hover. - Choose the package without guessing the price — it sits inside the accessible name of the option itself.
- Enter the company details: name, address, tax number, federal state, shareholders.
- Supply the figures, as a file or typed. An earlier e-Bilanz XML from us is read in the browser and carries the values over.
- Go straight to typed entry. The default is file upload — right for people holding their PDF, but an assistant has the figures and no file. Append
?eingabe=manuellto the URL and the balance-sheet step opens in typed mode:/start-en.html?eingabe=manuell. A human click always takes precedence. - Read every refusal: messages appear in
aria-liveandrole=alertregions, which is where an assistant actually reads them.
What stays with the human on purpose
- Payment. Checkout runs through Stripe. Assistants such as Meta's Muse ask their human before a purchase anyway — which matches our own rule that a payment is committed before anything is delivered.
- The ELSTER certificate and the release. A certificate file and its password do not belong in an automated flow, and the human releases the transmission. That is a decision, not a missing feature.
The flow
The sections carry the same names they carry in the accessibility tree:
- Eligibility
- Packages
- Company
- Balance sheet
- Income statement
- Disclosure details
- Review & preview
- Payment
- Release & transmit
Formats the upload accepts

Frequently asked
Can an assistant file the e-Bilanz for me?
No. The assistant prepares everything; you review, pay and release with your own ELSTER certificate. Deciding which position goes where is, when done as a business for someone else, reserved to the tax-advising professions (§§ 2–5 StBerG) — eBilanz Fabrik expressly does not take it on; you confirm the mapping yourself.
How does an assistant know what to fill in?
Every choice is a named radiogroup, every mandatory field carries aria-required, and every refusal appears in an aria-live region.
What if the assistant has figures but no file?
Append ?eingabe=manuell to the URL: the balance-sheet step opens in typed-entry mode instead of file upload.
Is there an API for unattended filing?
No, and there will not be. Nothing is transmitted here without a human release.
Provided without warranty; the statutory rules govern (including § 5b EStG and §§ 2–5 StBerG). eBilanz Fabrik does not provide tax advice.
Upload the finished annual accounts as a PDF, check the figures, release — we transmit via ERiC to the tax office and hand you the Transferticket.
